Way to go Hudson! You did it again. He took third place in the Spelling Bee, competing against 9 others from first grade through third. He went 28 rounds. The final three had finished the spelling list they studied and moved on to 4th grade words they hadn't studied. The first and second place winners were brothers. How exciting. Great job boys! (In Hudsons bag was a sling shot.)

Hudson loves school. His favorite subject is math and he can't wait to learn multiplication in third grade next year. He is already half way there, always giving Larry or I problems to solve that he has already figured out in his head. He came home from school today and told me he got moved. I asked him if it was for talking too much. (Mrs. Chambers has told me he likes to gab to his neighbors, especially Sara and Abby.) But he said he was moved to the winning table because of his good behavior. They earn points for finishing work, being quiet, reading etc. The winning table gets their own class party. He was also voted to be captain at his table by his classmates. I'm so proud of you Hud! Keep up the good work.
