Gram brought this blanket for Larry after church and he promptly displayed it on the fireplace.
Larry designed this cake himself and Sams did us the honor of recreating it to perfection! The Steeler players were printed on edible frosting.
Larry has been busy all week preparing games and prizes. He printed out these cards for his food display. "Catch some crab dip!"-Hines & Santonio.
He even made the crab dip himself, which was scrum-dilly-umpcious!
"Enjoy the Steeler brats & dogs!!-Big Ben
"Devour some meatballs while we devour Cardinals!"- Steelers Defense
Gunner and Skrapper enjoying a little pre-game meal.
Logan said he wasn't ready for the picture so he wanted me to retake it with his "mean" face. I call it his game face. He's a Steeler through and through.
Tierra doing homework and most of the kids watching "regular" TV on the small television until the Superbowl kicked off.
Oh the good 'ol boys.
Larry instructing Colton on the rules of Texas Hold 'Em. We like to start them young. :)

Me raking in the dough! I mean chips.
We were each given 2 names from either team. If your player made a "positive play" you had a turn at "table football". Paityn is holding up her fingers for the goal posts while Parks punts.
Colton was the winner and won airfresheners for his shoes! Man did they smell good.

Gunner and D-bone were happy little campers to be hanging out together alllll daaaay!
We got these 3-D glasses at Harmons for the half time presentation of Monsters vs. Aliens.
Paityn and Parks enjoying a cake break. They were the first to dive in.
Bingo cards made by Larry. We had to pay close attention to every detail of the game -from a certain player scoring a touchdown to coach Tomlin scowling- in order to fill our card.

Debbie was the big winner in our first round of poker. She won the DVD "Poker for Dummies".
Jon was the winner of bingo.
Colton thought it would be funny to wear red to haggle Larry. Well after the Steelers "stomped" the Cardinals, I thought it only appropriate to stomp on the red!

Parks won the overall score on our football pool. Hud won one quarter and I won another. All I got was a miniature candy bar??? What the heck!
(Please excuse the cheesy table we have our big screen on. :) We just got it for Christmas and don't want to mount it in this house and haven't found the perfect entertainment piece to put it on.)
Larry started cooking Saturday night. He first boiled the brats, then marinated them over night. He grilled them and we topped them with sauted onions, peppers and saurkraut. mmm Great Steeler tradition.

My mom has hers on backwards and looks like a blind woman. ha ha
Larry awarding the last prizes of the day. It was like Christmas!

That looks like so much fun! The most impressive thing to me is how much trouble Larry went to. We all know that you had to - but he is a man. I didn't know men went to trouble for anything. Cory slept through the whole first half and half-time show. Some Steeler fan!
You guys are party animals - how fun! Wish I would of known you were looking for a new home for your dog:( He was adorable.
I so agree with PCB...who knew Larry could be so crafty? Man...he needs to be in Young Womens! What a fun day for your family!
Thanks for a GREAT TIME - I think I gained 10 lbs. Maybe Larry should be put in charge of all the parties!!! PS my legs hurt from last night!
Looks like you guys had fun WITHOUT ME! Ha! Congratulations Larry!
I can't believe all the work Larry put into this party. That's so cool he wanted to throw such a great party. Sure looked fun!
